How can an app development firm can help?

App development in London has come to the forefront of popular technology. The nature of the app makes our lives easier and more enjoyable so when an app is well designed and targeted, the rewards speak for themselves.

London has become one of the key players in the smartphone industry, and with apps reaching an up to 1 billion in a week status (achieved January 2012) it is suffice to say that apps are not going anywhere.
The London Paralympics and Olympics 2012 is another significant factor in the rise for app development focused in London, visitors and residents alike will be able to easily download London apps that can offer guides and reviews around the city, and the Olympic mania will play an important part in making sure all the excitement of the games is shared amongst friends, family and the world.

Planning – is an essential part of app development in London. Planning involves a well executed mobile strategy that combines the fundamentals of app design. These include:

Navigation: An app needs to operate smoothly, quickly and easily. Making too many links or making information hard to find results in a confusing app that no one will want to use.

Reducing text entry, simplifying commands: the less buttons or touch functions a user has to commit to, the better.

Interoperability – refers to the ability for an app to transgress across a variety of platforms. For example the iPhone uses the ‘IOS’ system, involving touchscreen responses, however the Blackberry using RIM technology has a combination of touchscreen and non-touchscreen features.

Incorporating design for both these platforms (as well as the many others available) increases your market by the millions.

Speed: is another important factor within app development London. Mobile devices tend to have slower internet connection than desktop or landline services, an important consideration in app design.

Conceptual and Creative Design – involves a revolutionary and original approach to app building techniques. Conceptual design attract the user and allows for original, new programming that makes for exciting app development. Finding a unique market and a new idea is becoming increasingly difficult in a market of over 5 billion apps available.

Market Research – is an overlooked area despite being a vital part of the app development process. With market research you can identify who your key target audience is and create an app specifically with them in mind.

Too often apps try to encompass too many things and as a result they become overcrowded and not relatable enough. Market research will help your company identify the likes and dislikes of your consumer audience and will hopefully put you on track for designing a user-friendly app.

The Future of App Development in London

At the moment it is easy to assume that all areas of the app market have been covered, however this is not the case. Improvements and adjustments are being made all the time as well as revolutionary developments in mobile technology.

Mobile app development

Application development is trending up fast in the market. With the rise of mobile phone users and value added services provided by telecom aggregators, it has become a necessity for brands to take advantage of the platform and offer best solutions to users as per their requirements.

Mobile is considered to be a lucrative device or medium by brands to engage prospects or to promote their offerings. Value added applications are in trend these days. So, brands are considering to leverage the power of apps to achieve maximum brand value.

More and more entrepreneurs are evaluating the market requirements and customer demands to invest on apps as a strategy to attract maximum target audience.
Web app development

The web has a lot of potential to advertise and market a brand, but, to retain customers further it is essential for organizations to come up with something interesting. Web applications do the trick! They not only engage customers, but, make them loyal towards a particular brand. This makes users visit the application on a regular basis or as and when required.

However, if the application has a purpose to offer value added solutions to a customer, then, entrepreneurs must adopt measurable tactics or reliable output metrics to be integrated in the application to track user behavior.

How can an app development firm can help?

Outsourcing firms offer a wide range of development and management services to organizations worldwide.

In order to measure the performance of various applications, service providers offer services such as app analysis, maintenance and enhancement. This improves the credibility of the apps making them even more preferred by customers.

Business value

• Better flexibility for growth
• Proven high-quality processes to solve various complex issues and achieve high ROI

What a service provider offers?

• Advanced and scalable architecture that offers 24X7 support
• Reduced development cycle time
• Minimized risk
• Time and cost-effective applications customized to fit the needs of business owners
• Improved productivity by addressing the functional gaps and achieving business goals timely and effectively
• Applications developed on diverse platforms

Application development solutions assist entrepreneurs to address evolving technology and business challenges by outlining, planning and building applications custom-made to meet diverse business needs of an entrepreneur. Service providers deliver flexible, high quality applications which are easy to deploy and maintain, scalable and secure. By utilizing a global service delivery model, development firms offer high standard processes and methodologies to undertake this function effectively.
